first day of a new minecraft world
i'm playing on better mc bmc2 for fabric (plus appleskin, inventory profiles next, and diggus maximus) because vanilla minecraft is kinda boring. i updated the version of the modpack i was using today but i accidentally deleted the world that i had already spent like 10 hours on. that world was called "survive!" so this one is called "survive :("
i got pretty far on this new world in just one day because i played basically all day. i built a pretty sweet house
and i did a lot of mining and got a lot of gold and not as much iron or diamonds as i'd like. made a nice super smelter too
as you can see i built my house in an orchard which means basically infinite food (although bad food, but eventually i'll have it set up to make apple pie which is a bit better) but since i mostly play on peaceful it doesn't matter all that much
i spawned in this weird glitched biome in it called biome.terrablender.deffered_placeholder which just generates like plains terrain and has no decoration at all and there's no stone variation and no ores spawn underground which sucks because it has a cave that goes down to diamond level but oh well
this modpack comes with a mod called tom's simple storage mod which is awesome (especially since i can't find anything in my chests or organise them in any way because there are so many different items) but all the items you need for it are super expensive. you need glowstone and an enderpearl just to get started so i'm trying to get those things as soon as possible but again i play on peaceful and endermen scare the shit out of me so i might try trading for them with piglins when i get to the nether instead or maybe i'll wait until i have a super enchanted diamond sword. i am so weak the horror in minecraft is too much for me
also having trouble getting leather. haven't found any cows at all and there are two types of deer in this modpack and they drop two different types of venison and only one of them drops leather and i don't know what else drops leather. this modpack has backpacks which would be really useful if i could craft one but i can't!
p.s. i watched like four jenny nicholson videos today she's actually so awesome this is the most entertained i've felt in a really long time. i'd recommend her bronycon video
